Introduction

Hello potential new member! My name is Caresse Armstrong, better known as Raven Armstrong upon the site. I am the creator and manager of Soul Eater: Ascension. For those of you who don't know me well, I've been role playing for about 9 years of my life so far and I get a lot of my inspiration from my husband, Donovan. Even though he doesn't roleplay, for some reason I have more of a creative mind when I'm thinking about him. Thus, I'm here on Proboards working on a whole new role play that I've never tried before. Looking at the site now, it may seen uninteresting considering all the good things are hidden from view. There is a good reason for this and I apologize for the lack of preview of the site. That's why this little overview board has all the sneak peeks into the site to help you decide if this role play is the site for you. Please, take your time moving through the overview and I'll try to keep it as brief as possible so you're not reading a novel just to get a preview of the site! Enjoy the overview and I hope to see you applying to become a part of this wonderful community!

SEA is based after the anime. So Kishin Asura is 'rumored' to be dead. There is no set plot yet until we get more members then we will start building up a story.

//What is SEA?\\
SEA is the abbreviation given to Soul Eater Ascension. If you see that abbreviation throughout the Forum, that's what it is.. Although that's pretty obvious.

//How did SEA come to be?\\
Before I created SEA, I had another site under my wing that I was, for lack of better words, neglecting. After taking a small break and becoming discouraged due to the drama and mutiny on my site, I got back into the swing of RPing, storming head first into a pile of RPs and stories with many different people.

On my old sites, I've been stolen from. I've had bad interactions with crazed members. I've gotten into a few arguments with members who did not agree with something I've said concerning a character of theirs or whatnot. Despite some of the downfalls, I've had quite a few ups as well. I've meant amazing people here and I don't know what I would do if I ever lost this site. This hasn't been the most active site I've managed, but it surely has been the most worthwhile one, making this site something I hope to keep alive for a while.

What is the purpose of this site? Originally, it was to give me someplace to RP Soul Eater and meet others who liked the series. Despite this, this site isn't meant just for me. It's also for other members who is looking for a friendly environment to place their creativity in. This place is for interacting with others and finding other people out there in the big, vast world that share the same interests as we do. We RP to have fun here. Not to start fights. Not to just train to become the strongest. We RP here to create vast and impressive characters with the help of our fellow members by shaping and developing them through RP. The destination is not the part that we often worry about here. What we want is the journey, the story of the character that got them to where they are and it's that story that we try to share with our fellow RPers. That is the purpose of SEA. To create a story with other members and make it the best damn thing anyone has ever read.[/center]

//Missions & Jobs\\
Missions and Jobs are a new installment to the site. Whether you're a Mesiter or a Weapon, you will have different jobs or tasks that teachers may send you on solo or with your partner. Missions are to hunt Kishin or Witches across the world. They are based by difficulty level and require at least one partner pair.

//Monthly Events\\
Once we get more members here, we will start Monthly Events. They could be anything really. From random formals in Death City, fun stuff like a gender change or 'A day in the life of..' kind of thing. There will also be Holiday themed events such as an Easter Egg Hunt, Finding your Valentine, Christmas Caroling, etc.
