She was raised by her extremely loud father, who's powerful voice and happy attitude made her not be so shy to people. Usually, when around other witches, she's quiet but once one of them mocks her, her temper flares and the tiny girl gets a really bad temper, and her sway of water gets her going. But whenever something she doesnt like happens, her eyes change colors because her soul wavelength fluctuation. She never interacted with humans because of simple,stupid fear her father installed into her mind at age 4, because he almost got hanged like her mother was. Her father, Mark Grey was totally estatic, since his new girl was born. He left his army job that day just to see and support his family. His wife, Marlene Grey was sitting at the lake when her water broke , and decided not to take the very long journey to the hospital. Plus, her being a woman of nature, it was perfect. After her water broke however, she felt like she wouldnt stay on this earth. Once she told her husband he arrived, they both figured out what to do. If the woman was to die, the father would have to teach and pass down the legacy of her memories by himself. No matter how much it hurt, it had to be done. And sadly, at 10:32 pm, the woman died while the child was in her arms. After the burial, he made a promise to always take Grimoria to the lake where she was born, and help make her mother stay in her heart and mind forever. But once the child turned 8, something felt wrong once they arrived for their usual night picnic. Mark, her father, decided to show her a picture and explain the truth about what happened when she was born and why her mother wasnt here anymore. Once he explained it to her, she never even had time to cry as she backed into the water, making it tremble and glow. Once it swirled around the child, her father knew that she got the family secret. She was a witch. Her sway was the element of water. And her animal form was an "Angel Winged Bird" Otherwise known as a Scissor Tailed Flycatcher, or Bird of Paradise. After the incident, Mark stopped working for the army and trained and raised Grim everyday, and also protected her from humans who hated her kind. Once she hit 13, he allowed the girl to try to go out in her bird form, and ever since then, she's been doing well by herself in Death City. She wanted to enroll in Death Academy, but was too scared to ask her father. Now, she roams around the city, hiding her soul wavelength and enjoying simplicity. Heya Rainey, happy to see you're so proactive in making characters, specially a Witch, which was a first for this site. But, as expected, there are a few things that could use some tweeking to better suit the Soul Eater Universe in general. Feel honored to have me helping you in the making of your first Witch character!

First up, everything that's fine. Appearance and Personality are plenty fine. Sure, they aren't the longest or most detailed, but they're perfectly enough to understand the character for the most part, while also leaving room for further character development.

Now, for what needs a little correcting.

Abilities: Those are, basically, also spells. Just add them in the Spells section and completely delete the Ability one, which is solely for Kishin Eggs (in this app format).

Fighting Style / Spells: Not much something that needs tweeking, but rather just some clearing up. From what I understand, instead of a limited number and form of spells, Grimoria is, instead, able to manipulate water. Does this mean she can summon water whenever she wants? Can she transform ice into water, and vice versa? As well as vaporized water? Also, do note that with simple water manipulation, the only form of attack I can identify is strong jets of water. Of course, I can also understand that not everyone wants to make a character for fighting purposes. The same applies to witches. After all, there is Kim's case, the Healing Tanooki Witch. But this is something I'll mention later.

History: Actually, it wasn't that much later. Anyway, like I said, it seems Grimoria's Sway of Magic doesn't affect her too chaotically as it does to other Witches, similarly to Kim. This also explains why her fighting potential is so, well, low. After all, each Witch's Sway of Magic is directly affected by her Nature. You seem to be going for an aquatic and peaceful nature for Grimoria. While this is accepted, we'd like not to have DWMA overrun by good Witches. Technically, their role IS an antagonist one. We could use a couple bad guys (which, fiy, I am personally working on). Doesn't mean this specific case isn't acceptable, however. I'll personally allow this kind of characters to exist, but I'll also personally put a stop to it if too many start being made.

tl;dr

1: Take spells from the Abilities section, add them to Spells and remove the Abilities section entirely.

2: Grimoria's water manipulation doesn't have many offensive characteristics (that I can pin point), therefore, making her a not very good Witch in battle. A few details could use some clearing up.

3: Grimoria's gentle nature and lack of a destructive Sway of Magic. Is this planned? A few details need clarification.

And that is all for my little review for now. This certainly has the potential to be accepted, so please, don't feel discouraged. Post here regarding what I asked or come talk to me personally in case you find me. I'm looking forward to making this character happen.

Sorry about that Star! ;-; Grimmy hasnt been fully trained yet, so her abilities are kind of weak. She can form a water blade but she's developing it. As her sway, she can take away water from any thing that has water except for humans, witches, etc and nmake it into her own. As for spells...I am not sure sadly enough ;-; That i need help in. Shes only a good witch because she hates kishin and anything evil, its how the girl was raised I do have to fix it up more, and i shall!
